Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, adilabad Complete MBBS Admission Guide

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is situated in Adilabad, Telangana. This college was founded by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 2008. The RIMS Medical College & Hospital , the dream institute of our former Hon’ble Chief Minister –Dr. Y.S. Raja Shekar Reddy. This Medical Institute started functioning from 24th August 2008.The first batch of Under Graduates admitted in August 2008. RIMS Adilabad was established in 53.5 acres of land side by NH–7 in the year of 2008, work was started on 1-2-2008. The principal objective of establishment of this institute is to improve quality of health care in this backward region and make medical education accessible to all the eligible students of the region. The Government of Andhra Pradesh had taken special interest in allocation of budget to this institute, close monitoring of quality of construction and completion of project within given time frame. Such an infrastructure is not available anywhere in the State. The first MCI Inspection took place in 2008 and was followed by another 4 inspections
