Government Medical College, Porbandar Complete MBBS Admission Guide

Porbandar is a city of Gujarat best known for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama. Porbandar's beach locally known as 'Chowpati' has a long, sandy expanse along the ocean. Fisheries give a lot of employment to the city. To overcome extreme shortage of medical facilities in this region, promoted the GMERS Society to establish the GMERS Medical College Porbandar. It’s a Tertiary care 330 bedded Hospital well equipped with casualty beds, ICU, ICCU, NICU, Laboratory, Blood Bank, Radiology department, Operation Theatre, Labor Room, CSSD department, Pharmacy Department, etc. GMERS Medical College, Porbandar received Letter of Permission from National Medical Commission, New Delhi on Dt.18/08/2022. The medical college is affiliated with Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University with annual admission capacity of 100 students.
